Today we had are anual “Fall” Pediatrician appointment. This is the appointment…where we renew all of our prescriptions for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, & Speech Therapy. We get a refill on all ordered medicines…and this is where I usually make the decision of Flu Shot or no Flu Shot? This is ALWAYS the question. Every year, I battle with this question…AND every year I choose to allow the Doctor to give my children the flu shot. I have noticed that in years past when my kiddos have not taken the Flu shot…they have seemed more ill and have a tougher time fighting off the flu. Where as…years that I have had them taken it….they have stayed much healthier. Its such a hard choice to make because I’ve heard about so many side effects and yet when my kiddos get sick…they get sick! So, I choose to prevent it as much as possible…Well, the flu shots aren’t in until next week, therefore; I have a month to think about it. In the meantime, Erin & Taylor needed a couple other shots to prevent cervical cancer. They received those shots and were troopers doing so.
