A Family Competition in Utah (Day 323 of 365)

Wednesday, October 13th 2010

Cerebral palsy or no cerebral palsy! Us Littles are competitive!!! I knew I was competitive…but I didn’t realize how much I had passed it on to my children. When we were in Utah over the weekend, my family and I (& Jase) played a few games of air hockey with the family who runs the place where we stayed called The Summit Chateau Lodge in Brian Head, Utah. I miss her dearly, and am looking forward to the day I get to see her again.

Fall Happens (Day 303 of 365)

Thursday, Septemver 23rd 2010

I don’t know what it is about this season…but I absolutely love everything about it. This is the time of year for falling leaves, pumpkin patches, pumpkin carving. The pumpkin lattes and apple cider begin to hit the stores. Sweatshirt hoodies get hung up in the closet in order to prepare for the cool days ahead. People even seem more engaging and friendlier. I so enjoy sitting at a coffee shop during my lunch and watching the people engage and smile. Something about Fall that really changes everything. AND I don’t just mean the leaves. I truly love it!!
