Cerebral Palsy

Unsuspected Heros (Day 344 of 365)

Wednesday, November 3rd 2010

This morning as I sent Taylor to the school bus to go to school I started thinking about how grateful I am that all three of my kiddos have very kind and accomodating bus drivers this year. They will always wait a few extra minutes for them if they are running late, help them on the bus, and show genuine interest in them. In the past, this has not been the case. Let me just tell you, that having an impatient Bus Driver who could care less…could really make a single Mom’s life much more difficult than it has to be… This got me thinking….. Saturday, October 16th 2010

Today started at 8am…when I jumped out of my bed to realize that I overslept. I ran out of bed to meet The Physical Therapist at the door. She came over to work with the girls. She works with them by stretching their legs and having them do various exercises to strengthem their muscles. Erin was up first, and did awesome! Erin is always so compliant and usually follows all directions when given by others. Then it was Taylor’s turn. I should just end it there with a period and you should get some type of idea how Taylor did.

Cerebral palsy or no cerebral palsy! Us Littles are competitive!!! I knew I was competitive…but I didn’t realize how much I had passed it on to my children.
