Remembering My Sister Erin (Day 307 of 365)
September 27th, 2010
Today, in my heart I honored my older Sister Erin, who died suddenly 16 years ago when riding her bicycle. Erin was 12 years older than me, therefore; she was one of the major adult influences that I had growing up. What a good one she was! She was someone who had a tremendous positive impact on my life, and even though she has been gone for nearly half of it…she continues to live in me and to impact me daily. She believed in me like most didn’t, she had faith in me more than I did myself…so when a moment of doubt overcomes me…I often imagine what she would say to me in that moment. I miss her dearly, and am looking forward to the day I get to see her again.
A Total Mess Of Fun! (Day 306 of 365)
Sunday, September 26th, 2010
Have you ever had one of those days with your kiddos, where all of a sudden everyone in the home goes completely mad?! I’m not talking mad meaning angry…) I’m talking mad….(being wild & crazy). Wild & crazy…fun kind of crazy? I have had these moments in my life before…enough that I can count the times on all my fingers on both of my hands.
