Mom & Grandma Beach Bound!! (246 of 365)

Monday, July 26th 2010

The Little kiddos will be back in 3 weeks, so I figure that I can get at least 2 more beach trips in before hand. When I got back from Bermuda my Mom expressed that she wanted to go to the beach soon (I think she was missing it from seeing the videos that I posted). So, we’re off! We are visiting my sister in Hollywood tonight, and then all 3 of us are headin’ to the the sand & water. I have never been on a trip with just my Sister and my Mom before…so this will be rather eventful I am sure! I’ll let you know what type of trouble we get in…

Angels In Line (Day 243 of 365)

Friday, July 23rd 2010

If you read my post yesterday. then you will have noticed that it was a bit of a challenging day. Do you ever have those brief moments where you are feeling a little defeated? Well, I was having one of those moments…At times, it seems that the biggest obstacles in this life of mine is other people. Those of you who are reading this that have children with special needs you may know exactly what I am talking about. I wish Government & State workers at time would give a little more understanding, patience, & kindness when needed. I’m not gonna get started on that one…I’ll get to my point of this entry.

Medicaid Madness! (Day 242 of 365)

Thursday, July 22nd 2010

The last couple days have been fully maddening! Medicaid Madness!!! I received a letter in the mail (It must have come last week, while I was in Bermuda). It was a letter stating that the kids medicaid (insurance) is being cancelled due to me not filling out certain paperwork. My children receive SSI (Social Security Income) due to their disability, therefore they automatically are eligible for Medicaid. Well, I didn’t get the paperwork, therefore; it would be a challenge for me to fill out paperwork that I didn’t receive.
