It’s late in the evening on Sunday and I’m ready to end a busy weekend.
Jorden was excited and anticipating yesterday because he got to go to a sleepover with a bunch of boys at his Small Group’s house. They ate, hung out, went on a hike this morning, and finished by all going to church together. You know he had fun…when he fell asleep before it was time to eat dinner!
Unfortunately, Erin had a small seizure this morning. We were just about to celebrate…because she hadn’t gotten sick with her vomiting spells at all last week…since we cut out dairy and started giving her Isagenix shakes in the morning. However, I think the seizure was due to her being taken off the other medicines and put on a new medicine. I was told she could have a “break through seizure”. I’m going to call the doctor tomorrow, and am sure that is what it is.
Jase asked if all three kiddos could visit him at his seminar (www.hopetheseminar.com). He especially loves when Taylor comes to see him. She is his partner in crime. Well, she was being a little booger and didn’t want to leave when it was time to go…so she stood at the back table and colored a name tag until we ignored her and then she finally got the hint. Well, today…she came in my room and asked me how to spell sorry. Then about 5-10 minutes later she came in carrying a red plastic plate with one brownie on it wrapped in saran wrap and scotch tape with a note that said “Jase Im sorry Taylor Little”. She asked if I would give it to him next time I saw him. Do I need to say anything more?
AND me? I was busy as well…I helped Jase with his seminar a bit while feeling under the weather a majority of the weekend…but tonight I got to enjoy one of my favorite nights of the year with one of my favorite people Jim (I have known Jim since I was 9 years old). Every year I make ballots and pass them out to all my family, closest friends, or Academy Award lovers and we vote for who we think will win and bet $5.00. Then, I go to Jim’s house and we enjoy watching the Award show together during dinner and always end it with chocolate chip cookies! We have done this for the past 11 years and still going strong! AND guess what?! This year it was MY year! I FINALLY won part of the pool! WOO HOO!!!
Until Next Time,
E
