I Need Your Help! (Day 33 of 365)

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

I have to be honest with you…I have lacked motivation in writing an entry for the past few days. After reflecting on this and asking myself why…I have come to the conclusion that I am not sure if my life (The Little Life) is really that interesting for others to read. I have committed to writing this blog for a year and that is what I am going to do however, I’m not sure what people want to know or if there is something that others would like me to share. If you have been reading this blog often then you probably can tell that I have lost some of the steam that I initially had. Therefore, I would love your help. Could you please tell me where YOU think I should go with this blog? What do YOU want to know? How can I help others through this blog. I would love your help on this!

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

Its the day before Taylor’s birthday and with the this day quickly coming to an end I can rapidly feel the exhaustion of the busy and fun weekend having its toll. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining at all…very grateful and blessed, just doing my best to not let my grumpiness ftom a Go Go Go weekend come through on my blog tonight. I also just remembered that I am off for the next two weeks AND am ecstatic for the break! It will no doubt be enjoyed!

Jorden’s 3rd Grade Winning Paper! (Day 30 of 365)

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

I just got home from a rather extremely entertaining day. I will explain later when I am able to write more…but for now I wanted to share with you something that I found while going through old documents on my computer. Jorden entered a PTA contest in 3rd grade (this was about 4 years ago). He was given a topic. The topic was “I wonder Why”. So whatever he chose to write about needed to be inregards to something that he wondered about. Here it is for you! It’s the cutest writing ever. He won 1st place for the 3rd graders at his school! Hope you enjoy!

(Day 29 of 365)

Friday, December 18th, 2009

Its the Friday before the kiddos and I have two weeks off for what the school district calls “Winter Break”, and I just simply call it “Celebrate Jesus Vacation!” This is always a crazy day for me….with getting all the children’s teacher’s presents ready, presents for my students, and getting things ready for Taylor’s birthday can be quite hectic. However, the break is getting near (2 1/2 hours to go)…who is counting down? I am looking forward to sleeping till my body wakes me up. I don’t ask for much, and am going to request from the kids a few days of that…I will lose blackmail if I have to!
