Today started as most days do not start…which is me sleeping in till 9:30. Again for the second time in two weeks I have done this! This is unheard of!! The children were very busy and content playing the Nintendo Wii. Probably relieved I hadn’t been up interrupting their rare mornings of fun. We normally have somewhere to be, something to do, so this week has really caught us quite off guard even though we knew we would have a break, I think I thought that I/we would be busy doing something every day, and being non-productive is something it turns out that I can master! I found that out this week. I can already hear an ear full from my Mom on this post! She will be reminding me of all the things I need to be doing. Sorry Mom!

It has been tough doing much of anything lately. Going anywhere with the kids or making plans without the possibility of having to come back home. For some reason, Erin has been having these really severe headaches that are causing her to become sick (vomiting/feeling tired). A couple months ago, she was having frequent seizures. Therefore, the doctor added another medication. Although it has ceased the seizures they have been replaced with severe headaches. I have a call into the doctor, and he seems to not be doing all that I feel that should be done. I am really getting frustrated and sad for her. Today wasn’t a bad day for her, but it stinks that we never know what is going to happen day to day. If you can I would appreciate a prayer from you for Erin and that we find what is causing this headaches. This is much appreciated!

So on a lighter note, since today was a better day with Erin’s headaches I was able to get away for a bit and have a girl’s day with my girlfriends. If you are woman and you are reading this. If you don’t have some girlfriends, then start the search for some…really great girlfriends that know you, that love you unconditionally, and that can just laugh with you about the stupidest and smallest things. I am really blessed with some awesome ones! Today I was able to get a mani/pedi with my girlfriend Mandi. We went to this manicure shop that was very fun! They served us margheritas and they were all quite funny as well. The entertainment was worth the price in itself. Then I wrapped the evening up with my other GFs (Lori & Melody) by having a quick dinner & movie. I haven’t done that in awhile, it was quite refreshing and great to catch up and share life’s blessings & mountains with all of them! I really see how important it is to have strong women in my life. No matter what life has in store, they are there through it all. Its wonderful to know strong & wonderful women who believe in me like they do! You are awesome friends! Love you all!
