Ending Act 1(Day 42 of 365)

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

I didn’t tell you last night what happened…When I was done from the movie I went to get money out of the ATM, to find that the ATM said that there wasn’t sufficient funds. Hmmm…I thought. The ATM must be broken because I knew I had enough money in there to cover what I needed for the babysitter and then some. S0, when I got home I checked my account on line and saw that I was negative quite a bit of moolah. Come to find out some “booger brains” tapped into my account and bought $1600.00 worth of computer stuff. from HP. I immediately called my bank and Hewlett Packard.

Prayers Needed & Great Girlfriends! (Day 41 of 365)

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Today started as most days do not start…which is me sleeping in till 9:30. Again for the second time in two weeks I have done this! This is unheard of!! The children were very busy and content playing the Nintendo Wii. Probably relieved I hadn’t been up interrupting their rare mornings of fun. We normally have somewhere to be, something to do, so this week has really caught us quite off guard even though we knew we would have a break, I think I thought that I/we would be busy doing something every day, and being non-productive is something it turns out that I can master! I found that out this week. I can already hear an ear full from my Mom on this post! She will be reminding me of all the things I need to be doing. Sorry Mom!

Patience Gone- Be Back on Wednesday (Day 40 of 365)

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

This is the second week that the kids and I are off from school and work on Winter Break. It is so amazing how being off can really alter our life. Everything seems to be out of wack. Of course, our schedule is off because school is out..which comes with more time on our hands….which tends to increase negative behaviors or arguing in the house…which calls for a grumpy Mom. Yes, as I write I have locked myself in my bedroom as I hear arguing, clanging of Erin’s walker down the hallway , and the Wii Rockstar game  is playing in the back ground. My patience is officially gone for the moment, hopefully just gone for a break and not the evening. However, if I hear one more child say “Mom, He/She won’t let me watch T.V” I am going to take the T.V and put it on the street. It is a pretty nice one, so you might want to jump in your car and start heading around the streets of Henderson, NV for a sweet deal!

Eden’s Facebook Status Updates for the year 2009! (Day 39 of 365)

Monday, December 28th, 2009
Wow! I was able to pull up all of my status updates on Facebook for the last year. It is really funny and interesting to reflect on what has happened in my life this year. What if we all just wrote one sentence about our thoughts or events that are happening in our life each day? What a great way to reflect and what a great memento to leave behind.
Today, I leave you with ALL of the status updates that were on my facebook account for the year 2009. As you can see….this one is a pretty long entry. I absolutely LOVE Facebook and update it pretty much every day, so I understand if you don’t want to read every single update. However, great to see where life took me this past year. I am excited to see what happens next!
Oh! AND please forgive the format of this entry…I copied and pasted these from Facebook and was unable to get rid of the check marks. Enjoy!!!

Waking up! (Day 38 of 365)

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

It is exactly 9:39am and I just woke up! Today was a rather unusual morning, because first of all…I woke up at 9:30. I don’t think I can remember the last time I slept past 8am, AND second I woke up with a child giggling next to me. That would be Taylor…who decided it was time for me to wake up so she scurried into my room very sneaky, got under the covers, & decided that she herself was very funny. I don’t think she could help herself, so she began to laugh uncontrollably. I have to tell you…the best way to wake up is to hear one of your children giggling like that, especially when you can roll over and tickle them!
